BURRATA SNACKS
Three great snack recipes for your Christmas table by Smiltenes Piens and cookbook author Signe Meirāne. All you need to make everything perfect is fresh BURRATA cheese + inspiration + the joy of festive anticipation!
Ingredients
- 3 pieces of Smiltenes Piens Burrata cheese (always take out of the fridge 30 minutes before serving)
- handful of variety or Kalamata olives (pitted and into pieces)
- 2 ripe avocados
- 40 g red caviar
- 1/4 bio orange zest (finely grated)
- 5 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp crushed roasted hazelnuts
- freshly ground black pepper to taste
- sea salt to taste
Preparation
Place the olives on one plate, place the Smiltene Piens’ Burrata cheese in the middle, add the oil, orange zest, salt and pepper. Place the caviar on the other plate and top with the Burrata. Rub a little pepper on top. In a third dish, place the avocado, top with the Burrata cheese, oil, nuts, salt and pepper. Serve!
