Product description
This unique cheese is carefully matured for 12 months using a hard cheese starter. Although reminiscent of the famous Parmesan in taste, Granister is a semi-hard cheese and can be used on both gourmet cheese platters and salads. The cheese has a pleasant lactose grain, it is slightly spicy and caramelly. Be seduced by Granister by adding it to soft omelettes, creamy pasta, healthy risottos, crispy casseroles and a wide variety of vegetable dishes! The cheese has a slight bitter aftertaste, which is typical of all long-ripened hard cheeses.
