This unique cheese is carefully ripened for 12 months by hard cheese yeast. Although the taste of Granister reminds of the famous Parmesan cheese, it is a semi-hard cheese that will fit in cheese platter and salad. When eating the cheese, you will feel small grains of lactose, it is a little piquant and caramel-like. Enjoy the wonderful Granister, add it to omelette, creamy pasta, healthy risotto, crunchy pies and different vegetable dishes. The aftertaste of the cheese has a slight bitterness, which is typical of all long-aged hard cheeses.
Ingredients: Pasteurised milk, calcium fluoride, live culture of lactic acid bacteria, microbial ferment, salt, food colouring: beta-carotene.
